Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of actuarial experience with actuarial credentials (FSA or ASA with additional years of experience).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience with assumption development or life pricing/product development.
• Analytical skills: ability to think critically, identify, and solve potential challenges independently.
• Ability to synthesize large volumes of data to extract insights and identify data anomalies.
• Hands on SQL, Python or any other programming languages preferred.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Mortality assumptions including inforce/pricing assumption development and analysis of emerging experience to support quarterly earnings.
• Support Life Experience Studies data needs, including collaboration with IT, Valuation, and other teams as necessary.
• Collaborate on the enhancement of our controls process for various data flows.
• Collaborate with teammates to share knowledge, institute best practices, and develop shared insights.
• Document methodologies, automate recurring processes, and improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure data integrity.
