Job summary

AF Group is seeking an experienced Senior Actuary to lead multiline pricing and product development, translating market intelligence into actionable pricing and underwriting guidance. The role collaborates with Actuarial, Product, Underwriting and other partners to grow the portfolio with experience-based pricing.

Ideal candidates bring FCAS/FSA or CAS/SOA credentials with extensive P&C actuarial experience and strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related area.
• FCAS/FSA designation and a minimum of eight (8) years P&C actuarial experience; OR Associate designation in the CAS or SOA and minimum of twelve (12) years P&C actuarial experience

Responsibilities

• Lead multiline product development and pricing strategy across Commercial Auto, General Liability, Property and other lines.
• Evaluate competitive pricing approaches and translate market research into filing strategies and pricing tools.
• Partner with Product and Underwriting to identify segmentation and pricing differentiation opportunities.
• Evolve the multiline pricing framework as internal experience grows, including rate indications and pricing diagnostics.
• Perform actuarial analyses for pricing, reserving, reinsurance, capital management, and related areas.
• Communicate findings and recommendations via presentations, reports, and pricing tools.
• Maintain procedures and document work; participate in corporate projects as needed.
