Job summary

Munich Re America Services (MRAS) invites a Senior Actuary to lead the reserving process for a designated US insurance portfolio within Global Specialty Insurance US. You will partner with actuarial, underwriting, claims, finance, and reporting teams to ensure accurate loss reserves and impact on financial results.

You will develop deep portfolio knowledge, improve methods and tools, and present results to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related quantitative field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reserving process for an assigned portfolio, from data readiness to closing and reporting.
• Act as interface between Corporate Reserving and actuarial, underwriting, claims, finance, and reporting teams.
• Develop portfolio knowledge across exposure, pricing, underwriting, claims, and market trends.
