Job summary

Munich Re America Services (MRAS) seeks a Senior Actuary to join the Global Specialty Insurance US Reserving team in Princeton, NJ. You will own end-to-end reserving for assigned portfolios, partner with actuarial, underwriting, claims, finance and reporting teams, and present key judgments to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related quantitative field.
• Credentialed actuary (ACAS/FCAS or equivalent).
• At least five years of actuarial experience in cyber (re)insurance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to own end-to-end actuarial processes and meet reporting timelines.
• Excellent analytical skills and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead reserving process from data readiness to reporting and governance.
• Interface between Corporate Reserving and actuarial, underwriting, claims, finance.
• Develop portfolio knowledge and translate insights into reserving judgments and business decisions.
• Improve reserving processes, data flows, methods, and tools for an evolving portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional projects and coordinate contributors across groups.
• Present actuarial results and risks to senior management.
