Qualifications

• 10+ years of actuarial or related experience, with exposure to reserving.
• Strong understanding of governance, controls, and documentation requirements.
• Experience with SOX controls and audit processes.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Governance Framework Execution: Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the reserving governance framework.
• Documentation & Policy Management: Lead the development and maintenance of documentation for reserving methodologies, assumptions, and processes.
• Controls & Compliance: Oversee execution and testing of controls related to reserving; coordinate with Finance and Internal Audit on reviews.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with Actuarial, Finance, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure alignment and response to audits.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and governance processes.
