Job summary

agilon health, inc. seeks an Actuarial Manager for Medicare Value-Based Care. This is a fully remote role in the United States reporting to the Sr. Director in Markets. You will own the monthly results process for CMS programs, support payer settlements, and produce supplemental exhibits for month-end close.

The role blends high-impact analyses with coaching of analysts, and involves AI adoption to improve processes, with assignments across VBC programs, settlements, and MA close deliverables.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of actuarial experience (8+ years preferred).
• ASA or FSA designation and Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent ability to communicate and present a financial narrative.
• Strong Medicare Advantage and Value-Based Care knowledge.
• Experience with reserving and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly results process for CMS value-based programs (ACO REACH/LEAD and MSSP).
• Consolidate results and lead monthly results presentations to Regional CFOs.
• Reconcile payer settlements and assist in payer contract analysis.
• Transform outputs into FP&A inputs and support MA close deliverables.
