Job summary

Monogram Health is seeking an Actuarial Analyst, Client Actuarial, to analyze financial and business risks in value-based care for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and ACA contracts. The role collaborates with Actuarial, Medical Economics, Client Partnerships, and Data teams to deliver timely, actionable insights.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and progress towards ASA, with strong SQL/R/Python skills, and experience in healthcare data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Successful completion of at least one Society of Actuaries exam and commitment to ASA designation.
• Knowledge of database concepts, analysis development, and decision tools.
• Proficient in SQL/R/Python.
• Verbal and written communication skills across teams.
• Critical thinker and self-starter in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply actuarial principles to analyze healthcare claims data.
• Review value-based contracts to ensure financial performance modeling.
• Develop and analyze models for IBNR and financial projections.
• Reconcile actuarial inputs and outputs.
• Coordinate with internal/external actuaries and assist data reconciliations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company.
