Job summary

AHI agilon health, inc. is seeking an Actuarial Manager for Medicare Value-Based Care. This senior individual contributor will own the monthly results process for CMS programs, support payer settlements, and deliver high-priority analyses while guiding analysts across the team.

The role blends lead-analyst coaching, project management, and AI-enabled process improvements, with a fully remote arrangement and minimal travel to support strategic initiatives across markets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years actuarial experience required; leadership in cross-functional projects preferred.
• Experience with CMS value-based care concepts (MA, ACO REACH, MSSP) is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to translate financial narratives for senior leaders.
• Proficiency with Excel and SQL; familiarity with AI tools applied to actuarial work is a plus.
• Ability to coach analysts and lead end-to-end analyses with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly results process for CMS value-based programs and payer settlements.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor analysts across markets.
• Represent actuarial leadership in cross-functional forums and drive collaboration with FP&A, Accounting, and regional leaders.
