PEMCO seeks a Senior Data Scientist - Actuarial to conduct complex actuarial and predictive analyses supporting product development, pricing, reserving, and system changes. You will develop large-scale models, craft SQL queries, and collaborate with Product and other teams to deliver business solutions.

The role requires 6+ years in actuarial modeling, strong Excel and SQL skills, and a track record of data-driven decision making. PEMCO values ethics and community impact in its work culture.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field required.
• Graduate or professional degree preferred.
• 6+ years of actuarial and predictive modeling experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel; ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Strong quantitative modeling, data structuring, and analytics skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaboration with teams.

Responsabilidades

• Independently perform complex analytical support for actuarial and product development.
• Develop large-scale predictive modeling and multivariate analysis.
• Create queries and tools to assist the development and implementation of rates, rating plans, pricing strategies and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Team and other business units to provide business solutions.
• Develop and document system workflows and business processes.
• Pioneer best practice in building tools and processes to create efficiencies.
• Mentor less experienced members, helping them improve and sharpen their skills by sharing best practices.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with PEMCO's policies, values, code of ethics and business conduct.
