Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of actuarial experience.
• ASA, actively pursuing Fellowship (FSA) with a technical focus on Group and Health Insurance.
• At least 2 years of experience with Excel, SAS, VBA and/or C++.
• Proven time-management skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Claim liability estimation (reserving).
• Assumption setting and review for health actuarial balances (risk adjustment, reserves).
• Actuarial opinion and regulatory services.
• Actuarial process redesign and software integration.
• Data visualization.
• Ad hoc financial reporting advice.
