Job summary

Security Benefit is seeking a Senior Actuarial Assistant, ERM & Planning to lead and execute financial projections and risk analyses. The role focuses on ORSA, CISSA filings, capital planning, and enterprise stress testing across Security Benefit Life and an offshore reinsurer.

You will work within the Risk & Planning team, applying Prophet models and collaborating with Finance, Investments, Legal, and other partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
• Minimum four actuarial exams passed and ASA pursuit.
• 3+ years actuarial experience in modeling and projections.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and validate financial projection models for ORSA and CISSA.
• Manage multi-year projection and stress-testing workstreams.
• Perform asset-liability management analyses.
• Prepare model inputs, assumptions, and RBC-related analyses.
• Provide summaries for review by leadership.
