Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to build and support a robust pricing and/or reserving framework. You will lead advanced analytics, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with pricing and product teams.

This role offers hybrid or remote work with high visibility to leadership and opportunities for advancement. The ideal candidate has ACAS progress, 4+ years actuarial experience, and strong programming skills in SQL/R/Python.

Qualifications

• ACAS exams: 5+ CAS exams required or in progress
• 4+ years actuarial experience; ratemaking/reserving a plus
• Strong programming: SQL, R, Python
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative field

Responsibilities

• Develop and support a robust pricing and/or reserving framework for insurance products
• Lead, develop, and communicate advanced analytics to management and senior leadership
• Collaborate with pricing, product development, and reserving teams
• Independently lead projects from initiation to completion
• Mentor junior actuarial staff and manage project responsibilities
