The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of actuarial experience, strong analytical skills, and a keen interest in health care. Remote work is available nationwide, with in-office days required in Minneapolis for local hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or related field
• On the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2+ Actuarial exams
• 2+ years of Actuarial experience with focus on technical skill development
• Proficiency with Excel (including VBA)
• Proficiency with SQL (Structured Query Language)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain actuarial models for reserving and forecasting
• Interpret key drivers of health care trends in models
• Perform mathematical analyses and actuarial modeling
• Analyze actuarial, financial, utilization and cost data
• Communicate results to internal stakeholders
