Job summary

Optum Insight is seeking an experienced actuary to support Medicare and Medicaid payer clients through consulting, analytics, forecasting and pricing. The role sits within the Government Programs Actuarial practice and offers remote US-wide work with in-office requirements for Minneapolis or Washington, DC-area hires.

You will lead analyses, build pricing models, mentor analysts and deliver actionable business insights to clients during complex engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ actuarial examinations completed and on exam track.
• 3+ years actuarial experience with modeling and analyses.
• ASA or FSA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial analyses for Medicare Advantage, Part D and Risk Adjustment.
• Develop rates, forecasts, pricing models and financial analyses.
• Design data programs, actuarial models and risk-score analyses.
• Provide guidance to actuarial analysts on project teams.
• Support engagements across ACA, Medicaid, and related programs.
