Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Sr. Actuarial Analyst to advance Medicaid risk adjustment analytics, identify trends, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

You will partner with finance, operations, technology, and actuarial teams to solve complex problems and drive process improvements within the Actuarial Leadership Development Program. Remote-friendly within the U.S., with in-office requirements four days per week for Minneapolis area positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field required.
• Actuarial exam track with 2+ exams passed.
• 2+ years of healthcare analytics or actuarial experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Medicaid risk adjustment analytics, reporting, and dashboards.
• Analyze risk score performance, morbidity trends, and revenue impacts across markets.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, operations, and technology teams.
• Identify data issues, perform root-cause analyses, and propose solutions.
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership and partners.
• Lead analytical projects and support process improvement initiatives.
