Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support pricing for ACA markets. You will prepare models and experience studies to inform pricing and company strategy, reporting to the Director, Actuarial.

The role is remote and open to candidates in Dallas, TX, with potential for hybrid work in the future. Base pay ranges from $91,660 to $120,303 per year, plus benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Associate or Fellow of the SOA, or on track to become one.
• 3+ years of experience in actuarial or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review core pricing and plan design models and provide actuarial insights for pricing decisions.
• Participate in regulatory filings reviews and develop viewpoints for pricing strategy.
• Investigate drivers of observed trends to support pricing decisions and outcomes.
• Promote actuarial best practices, automation, and documentation within the team.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and assist onboarding of analysts.
