Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support ACA pricing, including model preparation and experience studies, reporting to the Director, Actuarial. This role is remote and open to candidates residing in Atlanta, GA, with potential hybrid shifts at the metro-area hub over time.

The position offers base pay in a range of $91,660–$120,303 per year plus employee benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or on the track to become one.
3+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

Review core pricing and plan design models, understand main performance drivers, and provide actuarial insights for pricing decisions.
Contribute to regulatory filings reviews and develop viewpoints for strategic pricing decisions.
Investigate drivers of observed pricing trends and provide actionable information for pricing decisions.
Promote actuarial best practices regarding automation and documentation in pricing work.
Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support pricing initiatives.
Assist in onboarding analysts and integrating them into existing processes.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
