Job summary

AA Healthcare Management in Milwaukee seeks an Activities Director to lead a vibrant, resident-centered program for our independent living community. You will plan, promote, and deliver social, cultural, recreational, fitness, educational, and community activities reflecting residents’ interests.

Responsibilities include scheduling events, coordinating logistics with staff and vendors, ensuring safety and proper billing, and maintaining clear communication with residents, families, and the team.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and leading activities, events, and resident services.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.
• CPR/AED and first-aid certification, or ability to obtain certification within required timeframe.
• Proficient with calendars, email, publications, and basic billing systems.
• Experience with TELS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Independent Living resident activities and maintain an inclusive environment.
• Plan calendars and schedule entertainment, parties, and outings monthly.
• Coordinate venues, setup, and vendor communications.
• Provide ongoing updates and monitor participation.
• Assist residents with voter registration and outreach as needed.
