Job summary

AA Healthcare Management seeks an Activity Assistant to organize and direct a well-balanced activity program for residents. You will work under the supervision of the Activity Director to provide engaging activities, track participation, and support the residents’ social, intellectual, and physical needs.

The role involves leading a variety of programs, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring daily activity materials are prepared.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute a balanced activity program for residents under the Activity Director.
• Provide one-to-one visitation for residents in the One to One program.
• Select appropriate activities (crafts, games, service projects, intellectual activities) for residents.
• Balance group sizes and locations across floors and central activity room.
• Coordinate recreational, intellectual, religious service, and community activities.
• Lead evening and weekend programs as directed by the Activity Director.
• Record resident participation and track progress on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and other departments to set resident goals.
