Job summary

Town Square is seeking support staff to assist seniors in daily activities, meals, and planning engaging programs. This role emphasizes warm communication, teamwork, and a safe, welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Responsibilities include facilitating activities, serving meals, and helping with mobility and daily tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care. A flexible schedule and prior senior-care exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Preferred prior experience with seniors or adults with special needs.
• Flexible schedule and ability to adapt to changing activities.
• Ability to assist with meals, transport, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively present Town Square member activities and support participation.
• Plan and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly activities to encourage socialization, stimulation, and recreation.
• Serve meals and snacks; assist members with cutting food and table care.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and care during activities and meals.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and assist with storefronts and furniture care.
• Communicate positively with members, families, and staff; participate in meetings and training.
• Comply with policies, safety, and regulatory standards; assist with transfers as needed.
