Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Ohio seeks an Activities Coordinator to implement group programs, transport residents to activities, and support recreation services for residents' well-being. Requires a High School diploma or a college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing, Nursing Home Administration or OT/OTA with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

High School diploma or college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, OT or OTA with driver’s license.
Experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.
