Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Ohio is seeking a Recreation/Activities Coordinator to lead group programs, transport residents to activities, and plan engaging recreation schedules. The role supports residents across our senior living communities, contributing to a vibrant care environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma with 2+ years of patient activities experience or a college degree in a related field with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 2+ years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting.
• OR college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.
• Essential functions: facilitate group programs, transport residents to activities, plan and lead recreation programs, promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.
