Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator to facilitate group programs, transport residents, and assist with planning and leadership of recreation activities within our Ohio communities. The role includes promoting facility programs to residents, staff, families, and volunteers to enhance engagement and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2+ years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting.
• OR college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.
