Job summary

Fundamental is seeking an Activity Aide to join our senior care environment. You will help plan, develop, coordinate, and implement engaging activities to meet cognitive, social, and physical needs of patients and residents.

You will also assist with transportation, setup, and materials for activities, both inside and outside the facility, while providing one-on-one sensory stimulation and group activities to promote personal progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; college credits are preferred.
• Willingness or experience in arts and crafts is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and proof of liability insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, development, coordination, and implementation of activities for patients and residents.
• Assist with transporting, setting up, and coordinating activities in and out of the facility; procure materials as needed.
• Conduct one-on-one activity therapy to provide sensory stimulation and group activities to support progress.
