Job summary

Goldwater Care Princeton is seeking an Activities Assistant to support planning, implementing and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs for residents. You will help ensure programs align with each resident's care plan and supervisor guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience in LTC Activities preferred.
• Ability to observe and document resident progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing & evaluating the activity programs.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and involvement.
• Maintain a warm, calm atmosphere and good rapport with other departments.
• Prepare activity rooms and acquire supplies for activities.
• Follow care plans in providing daily activities for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
