Oakmont of Santa Clarita is seeking an Activity Assistant to organize and direct residents' activities and excursions, enhancing independence and quality of life. The role supports the Activity Director and promotes a lively, inclusive community.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and 1 year coordinating or teaching activities with seniors, with proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and a collegial team environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).

Aufgaben

• Assist the Activity Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere and promote resident participation.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, staff and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
