Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an energetic Activities Aide to join our dynamic program. You will create a stimulating environment, promote residents' well-being, and collaborate with care teams to deliver meaningful activities.

Experience with the elderly in healthcare settings, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach are essential. This role supports therapies and recreation in a state-of-the-art facility with a resident-centered focus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Creative and compassionate with prior experience as Activity Assistant.
• Ability to plan and lead engaging activities for elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and social events
• Develop and lead activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and social services to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback
• Performs other duties as assigned
