Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Top Secret cleared Active Directory Administrator to join the team onsite at Quantico, supporting a Federal customer. The role covers Tier III AD support across multiple domains, with DNS/DHCP, GPOs, and security configurations in a VMware-based environment.

The ideal candidate will manage AD-related changes, document procedures, coordinate incidents, and assist with compliance tasks under CCRI and STIG requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8580 IAT III certifications (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, GCIH, GCED, or CISSP).
• Professional level certifications (e.g., MCSA Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, MCSE Core Infrastructure).
• 7+ years related experience in AD and enterprise environments.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, and associated apps (Lync, System Center, Exchange).
• VMware virtualization and VMware vCloud knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident/change management skills.
• Experience with PowerShell for AD management.
• Ability to document procedures and train Tier II/III staff.
• Experience with AD DNS, DHCP, and GPOs; STIGs familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the health of AD and internal DNS.
• Resolve AD tickets; provide weekly status reports.
• Coordinate incidents between Tier II and III.
• Provide documentation and guidance to Tier II and service desks.
• Submit and execute AD-related Change tasks.
• Monitor AD health with government tools; take corrective action.
• Provide project support for AD technologies.
• Coordinate with Engineering on AD issues.
• Support change management and CAB processes.
• Escalate product issues to vendors with Government approval.
• Implement monitoring thresholds and proactive remediation.
• Analyze and remediate DISA STIGs for responsible techs.
• Document and implement technical solutions for operational needs.
