Job summary

Yakshna Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior System Administrator for an onsite role at Quantico, VA. The position provides end-to-end support for on‑premise servers, SAN/NAS, and cloud storage, across classified and unclassified domains.

Required are 3+ years in DoW/Federal sysadmin, expert Red Hat Linux and VMware skills, and a current Top Secret clearance. US citizens or Green Card holders only; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/CS or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• At least 3 years in system administration within federal/DoW environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of Red Hat Linux, VMWare, and backup applications.
• Experience with backup/recovery best practices in distributed enterprises.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev5, SP 800-34 Rev1, NIST SP 800-209.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• US Citizenship or Green Card holder only.

Responsibilities

• Manage right-sizing of virtual machines and hardware recommendations.
• Assist migrating systems/data to a cloud enclave; data, systems, apps, NAS objects.
• Create backup plans and recovery procedures for mission-critical data.
• Maintain history of recoveries from real or simulated events.
