Job summary

VTG seeks an Action Officer in Chantilly, VA to support the Director's Action Group for a senior executive customer. You will manage tasking, tracking, and closure of internal and external actions, and maintain the action tracking system while building relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include editing and reviewing correspondence, preparing executive presentations, and coordinating training, security, and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical or business-related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with DoD/IC environment and security processes.
• Active TS/SCI w/Poly is required for this role.
• Strong MS Office and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical editing support according to policies and procedures.
• Direct and oversee task receipt, tracking, and closure for internal/external tasks.
• Manage the action tracking system and associated metrics.
• Maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Support DAG functions including recognition programs, training, and security.
• Develop SOPs for action tracking and facilitate user requirements.
• Prepare periodic action status reports for leadership; track deadlines and quality.
• Disseminate policy updates and legislative changes to relevant parties.
• Draft, proofread, edit, and review internal/external correspondence.
• Coordinate and maintain executive-level presentations; ensure quality control.
• Participate in DAG meetings, IPTs, and task forces.
• Ensure records comply with federal laws and directives.
• Assist delivery of training courses including TIER and officer/correspondence courses.
