Job summary

TPAPT is seeking experienced ACT tutors to provide remote, one-on-one instruction to students in grades 9–12. The Senior Tutor role offers part-time hours with 5–20 hours per week and competitive pay, starting at $40 per hour.

A Bachelor’s degree is required, and successful candidates have solid ACT knowledge and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include creating customized lesson plans, tracking student progress, and delivering effective test-taking strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paid ACT tutoring experience.
• Strong understanding of ACT format and strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability to meet student needs.
• Proven ability to help students achieve college goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction and ACT test prep.
• Develop customized lesson plans and practice tests.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Utilize effective teaching methods to build student confidence in test-taking.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all client interactions.
