Job summary

TPAPT PST Remote is seeking experienced Senior Tutor - ACT Full Test to provide remote 1:1 ACT tutoring for students in grades 9-12. Flexible schedule with 5-20 hours weekly, part-time employment, and a competitive rate.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, creating personalized lesson plans, monitoring progress, and communicating with parents. Must have 3+ years of ACT tutoring and a Bachelor's degree or higher.

About TPAPT:
TPAPT is a national nonprofit consortium of 15,000 local tutors and independent tutoring firms. One of our awesome chapters is seeking an experienced test prep specialists to provide remote 1:1 tutoring for the ACT admissions test.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction and test preparation for ACT students
• Develop customized lesson plans and practice tests tailored to each student's needs
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Utilize effective teaching methods to build students' confidence and skills in test-taking strategies
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all client interactions

Requirements

• Proven success with high scores on either/both SAT or/and ACT
• 5-20 hours per week of availability
• A minimum of 3 years of experience tutoring or teaching the full ACT test in a paid capacity.
• Strong understanding of ACT format, content, and test-taking strategies
• Earned Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized institution
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for education and commitment to student achievement
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of students
