Job summary

TPAPT is seeking experienced ACT tutors to provide remote 1:1 test prep for high school students in grades 9–12. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with a national nonprofit tutoring network.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years of paid ACT tutoring, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills. You will develop customized lesson plans, monitor progress, and provide feedback to students and parents in a confidential, professional setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paid ACT tutoring experience.
• 5–20 hours per week availability.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of ACT format and test strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualized ACT instruction.
• Develop customized lesson plans and practice tests tailored to each student's needs.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Utilize effective teaching methods to build students' confidence and skills in test-taking strategies.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all client interactions.
