Job summary

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist with an active secret clearance to provide acquisition support in the Northern VA area. The position is contingent upon contract award.

The ideal candidate will lead requirements reviews, RFP development, and lifecycle procurement tasks, including preparation of PWS and evaluation factors, plus contract modifications. Extensive DoD contracting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
• 8+ years federal contracting experience, preferably DoD.
• DAWIA level III or FAC-C level III certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Government client in strategic requirements review, acquisition strategy development, RFP development, and related procurement tasks.
• Review requirements documents to determine adequacy and sufficiency and make recommendations.
• Prepare solicitations, acquisition plans, source selection plans, and other regulatory documents.
• Develop and prepare requirements documents (e.g., PWS, evaluation factors, performance plans).
• Prepare modifications to contracts, purchase/delivery/orders, BPAs, IDIQs as needed.
• Respond to FOIA requests and protest actions.
• Advise and assist Government in full lifecycle of acquisitions as SME.

Job description

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist with an active secret clearance to provide a client with Acquisition Support in the Northern VA area. Note this position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead the Government client in conducting strategic requirements review, acquisition strategy development, Request for Proposal development, and in performing other related procurement tasks as required.
• Review requirements documents submitted by the Program Office to determine adequacy and sufficiency and make recommendations.
• Prepare solicitations, acquisition plans, source selection plans, and other documents required in accordance with regulatory and local guidance. Documents shall be accurate, current, and maintained up to date.
• Develop and prepare requirements documents (e.g., PWS, technical evaluation factors, performance plans, etc.).
• Prepare modifications for various contractual actions to include, but not limited to, contracts, purchase/delivery/Orders, blanket purchase agreements, indefinite delivery contracts, as necessary.
• Respond to Freedom of Information Requests and Protest actions.
• Advise and assist the Government in the full life cycle of acquisitions and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all acquisition matters.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Minimum clearance at the Secret level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related major.
• Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• 8+ years of federal contracting experience, preferably at the DoD.
• DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) level III certified.
• Extensive experience on complex, large efforts ($100M+).

Anticipated salary range is $140,000 - $160,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, clearance level, relevant education, training, and certifications.
