Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an Acquisition & PM Professional III – Cost to provide senior-level expertise across cost estimating, acquisition strategy, and program analysis for DoD, IC, and federal civilian programs.

The role partners with government leaders to guide modernization and investment decisions, leveraging extensive experience in life-cycle cost estimating, cloud cost modeling, and IT cost analysis. You will develop LCCEs, IGCEs, affordability assessments, and cost-benefit studies, supporting

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is required.
• Experience supporting DoD/IC/federal civilian programs is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and defend life-cycle cost estimates and affordability analyses.
• Experience with software development, enterprise IT, cloud environments, cybersecurity, or AI/ML initiatives.
• Ability to communicate complex analyses to senior executives with impact.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Strong data analytics, benchmarking, and market research skills.
• Proven track record in acquisition planning and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level leadership and advisory services on large federal programs.
• Develop and review LCCEs, IGCEs, affordability analyses, and cost-benefit studies.
• Support acquisition planning, strategy, source selections, budgeting, and investment decisions.
• Perform advanced cost estimating for software-intensive and cloud environments.
• Conduct benchmarking and market research using diverse data sources.
• Apply quantitative methods to assess affordability, risks, and resource needs.
• Support RDT&E and modernization activities across the lifecycle.
• Create cloud pricing models and infrastructure cost analyses.
• Prepare executive presentations and acquisition documentation for leadership.
• Provide program management support including risk, schedule, and resource planning.
• Interface with government customers, prime contractors, and senior executives.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical oversight across teams.
