Job summary

MDC Executive Search is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Manager for the Los Angeles area. You will own the deal pipeline end to end, from identifying opportunities through underwriting, negotiation, and closing, while collaborating with senior leadership.

You will lead a small team of analysts and associates, cultivating relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, and capital partners to drive investments and growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in real estate acquisitions, investments, or development.
• Sourcing and closing significant transactions.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and diligence skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience leading people and collaborating across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the acquisitions strategy and a consistent flow of qualified opportunities.

The Company

Our client is a fast-growing, privately held real estate development and construction organization with a long-term focus on residential projects across the West Coast. The leadership team is well capitalized, has a clear growth plan, and is investing heavily in its people and its pipeline.

The Role

This is a high-visibility leadership seat. You will own the deal pipeline end to end, from identifying opportunities through underwriting, negotiation, and closing. You will work directly with senior leadership and help set the criteria that guide where the company invests next.
