Job summary

Kennebunk Savings is seeking an ACH Payment Operations Specialist to lead and oversee the processing of ACH transactions, ensuring NACHA compliance and strong risk management. You will collaborate with Cash Management, Compliance and Technology teams to optimize workflows and safety.

The role requires deep knowledge of ACH rules, attention to detail, and the ability to train other departments on processes and upgrades. This full-time position offers growth in a regional bank environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NACHA Rules, electronic payments, and banking regulations.
• AAP certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• APR P certifications: APRP and AFPP are a plus.
• Demonstrates trust, confidentiality and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely processing of ACH transactions and related payment activities.
• Review complex ACH files and large-dollar transactions; manage exceptions.
• Monitor deadlines and settlement schedules to ensure SLA performance.
• Serve as subject matter expert for ACH products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, and risk assessments.
