Job summary

Jobot in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking an experienced corporate accountant to support high-impact projects within a growing contracting environment. You will oversee month-end and year-end close, manage journal entries, and uphold GAAP and internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will collaborate with operations and project teams, assist with audits, and contribute to WIP and job costing processes while maintaining attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with job costing and project-based accounting.
• Familiarity with WIP reporting is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
