Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant in Irvine, CA to own core close activities and strengthen processes as the company scales. The role focuses on ASC 606 revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing monthly statements, with exposure to the Controller and CFO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and account reconciliation
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Own revenue recognition under ASC 606, including contract review and deferred revenue schedules
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting documentation
• Prepare monthly financial statements and flux analysis for leadership
• Support prepaid, accrual, stock compensation, and capitalized software schedules
• Partner with sales operations and engineering on contract, billing, and cost data
• Support the annual audit and prepare requested schedules and documentation
• Improve close processes, system workflows, and internal controls as the company scales

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Details
