Qualifications

• Three (3) years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of purchase orders and related accounts payable documentation.
• Ability to utilize an automated accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt of purchase orders and ensure invoices are properly matched.
• Monitor supplier counts and report discrepancies to the Purchasing Office or Manager.
• Verify items against packing slips and identify pending or delayed orders and communicate delays.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding outstanding invoices and discrepancies.
• Prepare and process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and within established timelines.
• Process weekly check printing accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain current and organized accounts payable files and documentation.
• Obtain appropriate approvals for expenditures.
• Maintain vendor spreadsheets for reconciliation.
• Process employee expense reports and related payments promptly.
• Communicate with internal staff and external vendors to resolve payment issues.
