Job summary

Rural King in Mattoon, IL is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to support our vendor invoicing process. You will analyze and record vendor accounts, perform three-way matching, and ensure accurate payment processing.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time constraints to task resolution.
• Experience reconciling vendor statements accurately.
• Experience with three-way matching of PO, receiving slips and invoices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle or SAP) and MS Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of retail business practices.
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and record vendor account information, invoices, payments, and credits.
• 3-way match purchase orders, receiving slips, and invoices for assigned vendors.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve conflicts and payment issues.
• Prepare reconciled reports via spreadsheets, graphs, charts for vendors.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and accounts payable policies.
• Support learning initiatives and provide internal and external assistance.
