Collective is seeking a senior tax and accounting leader to bridge our bookkeeping and tax operations, shaping strategy for complex financial scenarios and ensuring tax delivery is optimized. You will mentor a team of bookkeepers and tax staff, review returns, and serve as a technical expert on multi-state and nexus considerations while partnering to build scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience bridging bookkeeping and tax operations.
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional compliance and high-volume client work.
• Ability to translate tax complexity into scalable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex financial backgrounds and tax situations to identify optimization opportunities.
• Mentor and develop a team of bookkeepers and tax staff.
• Bridge books-to-tax implications and ensure accurate tax delivery across units.
• Review federal/state tax returns (1040, 1120-S, 1065) for quality and compliance.
• Develop playbooks and training to scale team capabilities.
