Job summary

Blue Valley Cabinets seeks an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. The role collaborates with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Inventory, Customer Service, and Management to maintain internal controls and resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, at least 5 years in accounting, and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant accounting experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supervising, leading, or mentoring accounting staff.
• Strong working knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries, Accruals and Prepaid Expenses, Fixed Assets, Month-End Close, Financial Reporting, Account Reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information.
• Supervise accounting processes and personnel; assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Inventory, Customer Service, and Management.
• Identify problems, take ownership of resolutions, and communicate results to leadership.
