Career Team is seeking a Senior Accounting Supervisor to oversee financial activities across multiple projects and lead the accounting team in a remote capacity within MST or PST time zones.

The role reports to the VP of Finance and focuses on invoicing, analysis, and reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and high accuracy. Strong Excel and accounting software skills are required, with experience in WIOA/government contracts preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP; ability to reconcile complex balance sheets and P&L reports.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting across multiple funding streams (WIOA/government contracting) preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel and accounting software skills (QuickBooks, Adaptive Workday, Expensify a plus).
• Ability to work in a remote/virtual setting with strong communication and confidentiality.
• Minimal travel required.

• Oversee invoicing, analysis, and reporting of project financial status across multiple projects.
• Lead month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate accounting activities for projects and monitor contract-specific procedures.
• Manage annual audit deliverables and serve as primary contact for audit requests.
