Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor III to lead financial reporting at our Berea, KY facility. You will ensure GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance while guiding the team through monthly closes and reconciliations.

This role supports planning and controls across the Americas division and offers growth opportunities within a global manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Master's degree in Accounting (MSA) preferred.
CPA, CMA, and/or MBA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee financial reporting activities, ensuring GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
Monitor and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and support compliance initiatives.
Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide explanations to management.
Support development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
Coordinate accounting and reporting across Americas Division locations.
Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members and manage workload priorities.
Champion process improvements to increase efficiency and reporting quality.
