Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking an Accounts Payable/General Accounting Supervisor in Phoenix. You will supervise AP and general ledger tasks, ensuring timely payments, accurate reconciliations, and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities include rent/CAM payments, 1099 filings, and coaching a team of accounting staff. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ related experience are required, with Workday/ERP familiarity valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or general ledger accounting.
• Experience in high volume Accounts Payable, best practices, procedural efficiencies, automation and internal control processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable and general accounting functions for GCNA and affiliated entities.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and proper documentation and approvals.
• Prepare rent and CAM payments for leased properties monthly and correspond with landlords.
• Review check runs for accuracy and adherence to policy, and prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Coach and develop team members, manage performance, and support change initiatives.
