Job summary

HiTHIUM Energy Storage in Fremont, CA is seeking a Finance/Accounting Specialist to manage revenue recognition, accounts payable, financial reporting, and ERP system optimization. This role collaborates with internal teams and supports audits, tax planning, cash flow forecasting, and insurance management to strengthen the company’s financial health and strategic goals.

3–5+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
Solid understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
Experience with ERP systems and basic financial processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Revenue Recognition: ensure GAAP-compliant recognition and handle goods billed for future delivery and long-term contracts.
Accounts Payable: manage invoice approvals, payments, and vendor relationships.
Accounting Systems: support ERP system optimization to improve processes.
Audit Support: coordinate with internal/external auditors and prepare documentation.
Tax Planning: assist with sales tax returns, income tax returns, and transfer pricing documentation.
Finance Management: assist with credit policies, cash flow forecasts, and bad debt prevention.
Insurance Management: evaluate insurance policies including cyber and pollution coverage.
