CBX Global is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to oversee key accounting operations, support financial reporting, and provide direct supervision to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. This role requires a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting, including general ledger management, month-end closing, reconciliations, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will lead, develop, and coach the accounting team while improving reporting accuracy across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA, CMA or similar certification is a plus but not required.
• Minimum of two years of direct supervisory experience within an accounting department.
• Minimum of five years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience including GL, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, internal controls, and reporting.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting personnel.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and actively participate in AR/AP and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Review GL activity and investigate discrepancies for accuracy.
• Provide direct supervision to the AR and AP teams and drive performance.
• Collaborate with finance leadership to improve reporting accuracy and timeliness.
