Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will work directly with the CFO to oversee critical financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of financial management. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Oversight: Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, ensuring all accounts are reconciled accurately and on time.

Budgeting & Strategic Reporting: Develop and manage company-wide budgets, job costing, and financial analysis to support informed decision-making.

Accounting Compliance & Systems Management: Maintain compliance with GAAP standards while utilizing Excel, Google Docs, and accounting software (Evosus training provided).

Job Costing & Inventory Control: Oversee project cost tracking, subcontractor payments, and resource allocation for maximum financial efficiency.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to optimize accounting processes and financial reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required)

3-5 Years Of Professional Accounting Experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles

High proficiency in Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data analysis) and Google Docs

Ability to work independently, think analytically, and make sound financial decisions

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills
