What You'll Do

1. Financial Reporting (including designing reporting processes, restatement assistance, and traditional 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings)
2. Operational Accounting (improving and optimizing finance and accounting functions)
3. Accounting Standard Implementation (such as ASC 606 and ASC 842 for public and private companies)
4. Handling acquisitions, divestitures, and IPOs
5. Providing Accounting Advisory services for clients
6. Communicating project findings, updates, and recommendations effectively to clients
7. Assisting Managing Consultants with project administration (setup, planning, budgeting, account management, billing)
8. Contributing to firm and practice development through committees and initiatives such as recruiting, business development, and marketing. Initiative-taking is encouraged.

What You'll Bring

1. 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, operational accounting, implementing new policies, or complex transactions
2. Experience in professional services, preferably with a management consulting firm or at the “Big Four”
3. Strong technical accounting background, including proactive research of technical issues
4. Excellent communication skills
5. High energy, engagement, and flexibility
6. Great sense of humor!

Travel

1. Willingness to travel domestically up to 20-30% based on client needs
2. Ability to participate in a hybrid environment (3 days in-office or on-site, 2 days remote)

Education

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related fields
2. CPA, CIA, CFA, or CA certifications are strongly preferred

For applicants in Los Angeles, CA, the estimated compensation range is $71,000 - $151,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits.
